October 28th through November 4th marks the Salvation Army's White Ribbon Against Pornography Campaign.
Pornography fuels the international sex trade. It is devasting to the women that are often trafficked into the industry and to the men viewing the material. It is an industry that is growing rapidly and oftentimes to involve more graphic and violent material. Even images on television and in ad campaigns contribute to the objectification of the individual. As Christians, we are called to take a stand against culture when contributing to evils such as exploitation and violence. Below are some links to related articles.
