Giving Children Hope is responding to the critically acclaimed rockumentary, Call + Response by hosting an art exhibit to help our international projects that de al with the issue of human slavery.
We are asking our community to be a part of the solution to this terrible problem. My desire is to see more and more people become educated on this issue and then create a tangible response to slavery.
"My Hands Have a Voice" Art Show will be Saturday, April 18, 2009 @ 7 pm at our warehouse in Buena Park, CA.
The deadline for submission will be Friday, March 28, 2009.
All mediums allowed and encouraged are as follows, but not limited to:
PAINTING
DRAWING
SCULPTURE
PHOTOGRAPHY
INSTALLATIONS
MIXED MEDIA
