North San Diego County Human Trafficking Collaborative Meeting

November 2 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

The North San Diego County anti-Human Trafficking Collaborative is a diverse group of individuals and community organizations committed to eliminate human trafficking and modern day slavery. Our mission is to raise awareness of human trafficking, provide a platform to share information, improve services, educate ourselves and the public, and advocate for policy and legislation related to human trafficking.

Meetings are held bi-monthly, at United Methodist Church of Vista, 490 S. Melrose St. Vista. Attendees include representatives from the Faith Based Community, Vista Unified School District, Child Protective Services, YMCA, Service Providers such as Grace House, Women’s Resource Center, law enforcement, attorneys, and many more. Our legislative expert has current updates and instructions on how to approach legislators for action on human trafficking issues. We share upcoming events, general news items, and any interests from the group.

Our guest speaker is Coordinator of Student Services, Vista Unified School District, Michelle Walsh. She is also a Community Award recipient given by North County Lifeline.
