Back to the Basics

March 7, 2015 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

On March 7, 2015, Ambush Events will take the public by storm with their featured Pop Up event, “Back to Basics” in the
WOMEN’S MUSEUM at Liberty Station from 5pm-10pm in San Diego, CA. This event will push the artistic boundaries; while simultaneously keeping the audience in awe. Ambush will be a unique collaboration with some of San Diego’s most unique artists, performers and fashion designers. All of our events are in alignment with local charities, as a means of outreach to raise money for a good cause.

We’ve worked with huge local nonprofits, but this year we wanted to focus on finding new and emerging nonprofits. A majority of the proceeds will be donated to, “Hidden Treasure’s Foundation” (www.hiddentreasuresfoundation.org). Hidden Treasures Foundation is a growing organization that has a variation of means they are engaged in reaching and caring for human trafficked victims. The money raised will provide financial assistance to the health and education resources for the rescued victims.

This event is our rendition of, “going back to basics” and utilizing the resources around us. Meaning, every fashion designer and artists are using nonconventional or recycled materials to produce their collection or artwork. In our events, we challenge our talent to go above and beyond; in order to stay above the status quo and show the public something unique. Some of our events have been described as the “Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory” for adults, except we ambush your senses with artwork, fashion and performers.
Over the next 18 months, Ambush will embark on a plan to do 4-5 Pop up events at various locations, and one finale event at the Port Pavilion the end of 2015. We feel the Pop ups will help brand Ambush; while simultaneously giving our sponsors extra media and advertising opportunities. Our overall goal is to create an artistic movement and company that will bring in tourists, help improve the economy, and open doors for our unique local talent. Each Pop up event will showcase something uniquely different; we do a great job of not repeating the same concept or message.
